Not A Noplace is a QTBIPoC Open Mic Series inspired by Lucille Clifton’s poem called “what the mirror said". 

Though systems of oppression (such as racism, capitalism, patriarchy, etc.) condition us to believe that we are both wrong and disposable if we do not wield our energy into a soft place for others to land, we cannot abandon ourselves. We hymns of unhurting, be our own best things.

Join us for an evening of entertainment and action for Palestine, with readings and conversation with renowned queer Palestinian writers, to raise funds for LGBTQIA+ Palestinians in crisis.Featuring: Yaffa, Palestinian Trans Muslim poet and actvitist; George Abraham, Palestinian American poet, essayist, critic, and performance artist; and Hannah Moushabeck, Palestinian author and activist, co-owner of Interlink Publishing.

100% of profits will be directed to the Muslim Alliance for Sexual & Gender Diversity.
